Solar Devices

We see sun every day, but very often we do not realize its full potential. I am not only talking about its health benefits, but rather how we can use modern technologies to take advantage out of it. Solar powered devices have been around for quite some time now, but such devices are still not very popular. What makes solar powered devices so attractive is that solar power is renewable. We will never run out of it, so taking advantage out of it is a great idea. The sun will keep shining anyway, whether we use this energy or not. A very interesting concept that comes to mind would be a solar powered iPhone. Actually, it is not only a concept anymore as Apple has applied for a patent which proves that they are considering such device. It seems like such an iPhone would have an ingenious design, and would have the solar panels hidden under the LCD display. I have not seen anything like that and wish luck to Apple in developing this technology, as I like the idea of it. There are already solar powered iPhone chargers which can charge your phone in just a few hours, but a solar powered iPhone is obviously a completely different design.

Opening DAT Files

There are many extensions that files have. Of them is .dat and you might have encountered it before. The reason why this particular file type is worth mentioning, is that unlike other file types, it does not belong to a specific program. For example .doc belongs to Microsoft Word, .xls to Microsoft Excel and so on. On the other hand, .dat files are data files that are not attributed to a specific program. In order to open it properly you should know which program was it meant to be opened with. One way to check with which program to open this file, is to ask the person who sent you an attachment with this file what program does it belong to. Of course, you can also try to deduct yourself how to open it. You might get a clue how to do it by opening it first with notepad. Do it by right clicking on a file -> Open With -> Choose Program -> select “Notepad”. Of course, this method is not that easy, especially for those who are relatively new to computers. You should also know that in most cases there is no need to open .dat files. If you simply want to launch a particular program, then you should find a file with the .exe extension.

Personal Mastery!

Mastery might suggest gaining dominance over people or things .But mastery can also mean a special level of proficiency. A master crafts person does not dominate pottery or weaving .People with a high level of personal mastery are able to consistently realize the results that matter most deeply to them and in effect they approach their life as an artist would approach a work of art. They do that by becoming committed to their lifelong learning. Personal mastery is the discipline of continuously clarifying and deepening our personal vision, of focusing our energies, of developing patience and of seeing the reality objectively. As such ,it is an essential cornerstone of an organization and plays a very important role for the success of the organization.

Go for a router with advanced features

One of the basic network connectivity devices is a router. A router transfers network packets between two different networks. In order for network traffic to get from one computer to another on the Internet, this traffic normally has to traverse a number of routers. Some router manufacturers have enhanced the functions of their products by including firewall features.

If you already have a router that connects your network to the Internet, you should explore whether it can perform packet filtering or other firewall functions. Most likely, you will find that your router provides some rudimentary firewall capabilities but that it doesn’t give you any advanced features.

Real Ranker

Page Rank is the most popular way of ranking websites. There is a similar tool to the popular Page Rank that offers to rate your site in a different manner. In this case its name is Real Ranker, and you can visit its website to check out your rank. What is interesting is that each site is rated from 0 to 100 points, so each site is rated in a more precise way compared to the traditional PR scale from 0 to 10. I do not think that this tool will become very popular, because it was not released by any major company. It is not even backed up by any popular company. Nonetheless, it is an appealing tool that in my opinion has a lot of potential. Visit its website to check your Real Ranker score and see for yourself.

Bowling

From the beginning of cricket, bowling has since being the most skilled and difficult of cricket skills to acquire. Bowling is a practice by which a person (bowler) runs up to the wickets and throws the ball to the batsman with a full arm trying to hit the wicket to get the batsman out. The basic grip to hold the ball is to keep the seam vertical and to hold the ball with your index finger and middle finger either side of the seam with the side of your thumb resting on the seam underneath the ball. The bowler's dominant foot lands on the pitch, near the non-striker's bowling crease. At this point the bowler's body is rotated so that the dominant side is trailing, with the bowling arm held down behind the body, elbow straight, with the hand near the waist. His other arm is held high in front of the body, to counterbalance. The spin on the ball is roughly 30 degrees, so that the ball both spins sideways and dips with the over spin. Closest variation is the top-spinner, where the seam points to the wicketkeeper and the ball over-spins straight down the pitch. The out swinger delivered at pace is one of the most powerful deliveries. It swerves in the air from middle to off, begging for catches for the wicketkeeper or the slips.
