Some time ago a Tokyo University engineer has developed a very original way to control robots by using simple gestures. This robot is supposed to have cameras that would detect body movements and later translate these actions into movements. What I find appealing with this way of controlling a robot is that gesture movements are a perfectly natural thing to do for a human being, contrary to using a keyboard or other input devices.
